Stream For Starlight 2026
FROM $60 TO $652: 25 HOURS FOR STARLIGHT
The clock had nearly 24 hours left. We had $60 raised toward a $500 goal, a charity Music Battle ahead of us, and no idea just how much this community would show up.
I started my September 17 Stream For Starlight marathon to support Starlight Children’s Foundation during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Twenty-five hours later, our community had raised $652.
That number still makes me smile. But the part I’ll remember most is everything that happened on the way there.
A full day with a purpose
This was more than a long stream. I built the day around little moments we could reach together: a face cam reveal, a Try Not to Laugh challenge, a TikTok dance, a gym stream, and, if we hit $500, a Kingdom Hearts lock-in. At $100, the community unlocked a 25th hour. The stream hadn’t even finished its first day, and the plan was already growing.
The Replay, my fourth annual charity Music Battle, was part of that 25-hour celebration. Music Battle is always full of energy, and bringing it into the Starlight fundraiser gave us another way to laugh, compete, and rally around a cause at the same time.
Meeting the mission through Devan
I also sat down with Devan Tozzo from Starlight Children’s Foundation to talk about what the fundraising supports. We discussed Starlight Gaming stations, hospital gowns, and Radio Flyer Hero Wagons. These programs can bring play, comfort, and choice into a hospital stay—things that matter when a child and family are facing a difficult time.
That conversation gave everyone watching a chance to hear about the work behind the donation goal. I wanted the stream to be fun, but I also wanted us to understand why we were there.
We kept going
When we reached the $500 goal, the fundraiser didn’t stop. The community kept showing up, and by the end we had raised $652. The stream ran for 25 hours and 11 minutes—long enough for plenty of games, surprises, tired laughs, and moments I’ll be talking about for a while.
To everyone who donated, shared the fundraiser, watched, chatted, played, or helped keep me going: thank you. I hosted the stream, but we made those 25 hours together.
The stream may be over, but Starlight’s work continues. You can learn more about Starlight Children’s Foundation at starlight.org, and watch my conversation with Devan to hear more about the gaming stations, gowns, and wagons we discussed.
From $60 at the start to $652 at the finish: thank you for being part of it. ⭐
